Literary Luxe was begun while I was on winter break in January 2011. I spent the entire month creating my first products and from there the shop has grown into a place where I not only have the opportunity to use my creative energy, but also have the pleasure of sharing ideas with other fantastic connoisseurs of the imagination. I initially began journaling as a child and my love of writing then spread to creating short stories and poems that I collected and hand-bound in small pamphlets that I would give to my family members as gifts. After years of making small stapled booklets and filling books with my own thoughts, I decided that I would like to connect with other wordsmiths and artists by creating spaces where they, too, could store their scribbles.

Each Literary Luxe journal is designed, printed, bound, packaged, and shipped by me personally. I draw the inspiration for my journal covers from literary quotes, romance languages, and also from vintage graphics and illustrations. Essentially, the items that I create for Literary Luxe are based upon my own personal curated collection of beautiful images and phrases that no human being should go without experiencing.
